Collocated in the vein of contemporary art, Butera is an artist who makes a revolution in the field of painting with his return to a genuine relationship with the truth. His works indicates an adherence to fact, transcended not by using frivolities but merely through the exaltation of the same. I think it is precisely for this reason that his landscapes seem to be both static and dynamic, real and metaphysical.

Exhibition of these works is the modern and contemporary art gallery Estense Arte, present on Lake Como since 1995. Here the artist's works are joined to those of other established artists but also young talents that the gallery, through its professional consulting services, undertakes to promote.

Inserito nel filone dell'arte contemporanea, Butera è un artista che attua una rivoluzione in campo pittorico con il suo ritorno ad un rapporto autentico con il vero. Le sue opere indicano un'adesione alla realtà, trascesa non servendosi di frivolezze ma solamente attraverso l'esaltazione della stessa. Credo sia proprio per questo che i suoi paesaggi sembrano essere al tempo stesso dinamici e statici, reali e metafisici.
